Art in my heart.

This week I finished the cards that Jen and I started last Friday. It was my first time using gesso and acrylic paints. I love it. The paint is so much smoother and richer than watercolor. Bold! It was sad to part with my little creations but knowing I will receive a stack of cards from other creators makes me excited. What will they look like?! While my brothers were here they came up with some suggestions for the inspiration cards but after hearing them I chose my own. "Butt cleavage" may not be the best choice.After having a stack of fabric on our table for months, I finally made my Spring fabric canvas. It is okay but I am so happy to be done. I guess this week was Finish Art Week. Jen made me the 4x4 painting to go with my word of the year: Flame. Warm colors are not usually my magnet but it reminds me to follow my heart and passion. Burn, baby!
