It was my year to plan our anniversary celebration. We decided to post-pone our romantic getaway because the marathon landed on the actual weekend. It was worth the wait! The weather was glorious and sunny and cool.We drove through the country, breathing in the fresh air and drinking in the broad views of greens and fall oranges and reds. I took some grapes off the vine and they were delicious. Very juicy and smooth even with the seeds.We went to a hotel near a shopping center we like and while we were at dinner, Nick drew a picture of our anniversary. At least that is how I viewed it. Soft and beautiful and red (for love....or because it was the only color besides black on the table.)I think this year will be our best year yet. Lucky number 7!
