This morning was TLC and our first time attending. It was 2.5 hours long and had an intermission! Nick, Eric, Meg, and I left at intermission, having praised God with song and communion. Not ready to go home, we got iced caffeine and played cards. Delightful, albeit chilly. Meg won - and she had never played before. Lucky!Nick and I are making our first Fall soup tonight. Carrot, mmmmm... We bought a mini baguette and had them slice it for the first time. We will definitely do that again. We bought one small bag of candy in case any kids show up asking for treats. I recorded two classic movies to watch and think, "Oh, scary!" but not too scary. I am always happy when Halloween is over because it means Thanksgiving and Christmas are soon. Cue the carols, please!
