We tried to wait . . . 7:45 we eat.

The most guests we've had for dinner yet.
We have lived here for two full weeks and for each of the three Saturdays, we have had guests for supper. Country Nick and Nette are gracious, regular hosts. Sure! My aunts and uncles arrived at the same time, just as I sat down to read and rest from a long afternoon of food shopping and prep. We talked for an hour, waiting for Steve and Heather who were caught in construction on their post-work drive. Dinner was a hit, delicious food all around and two kale salads.
I knew it! I made one, S and H made one.
Top three comments:
"There is so much space! The pantry is huge! It goes on and on."
"The view. What a beautiful view."
"This is delicious. This tastes good, can I have the recipe?"

I met with two women this morning about becoming an advocate with Backline. After a tedious start we settled into a rhythm of qanda and I will know by Wednesday if they want to train me and I will know if I want to commit. My biggest wish is that my cell reception was better for answering calls. Time for a land line . . .?
