We celebrate with twirling.

I picked up the street NO PARKING permits today so moving will be easy. I enjoyed my streetcar ride home, watching familiar businesses pass by, noticing seatmates oddities, feeling happy that I know my part of the city so well. I walked to the post office, co-op, bakery - the favorite, regular places my life takes me. Will I miss the walkable neighborhood? Maybe . . .

We met Ann tonight to get our new keys and look at the apartment again. The new carpet is sooooft and cushy. Everything is very clean and the air is so cool. It will not take long to fall back in love with air conditioning. The one big glitch is lighting. We will invest in soft lamp lighting. Fluorescent: out!
