I heard "action brings clarity" last week. I also did an exercise to find my greatest strength and shadow. My strength is follow-through : my shadow is non-action.
I have always been very good at acting when I know what my goal is but tend to resist movement of any kind when I don't know where to go and what to do. Anything! Do anything!
Starting an action doesn’t mean I have to stay with it. I used
to believe trying meant stay, persevere, commit. Now I believe it means gather information, find out, learn. Every new thing I try,
every action I take is not a definition, it is a step to clear the path to my passions.
Last night while getting ready for bed I thought, "I want to create one thing a day for 30 days. I'll start July 3 and end Aug. 3. How perfect because that will be 32 days, ending on my 32nd birthday."
And that is what I did. Start.
I also went to the dentist. Cleared for another six months!
