Nick and I attended a wedding reception and we both agree that we did not miss attending the ceremony.

It turns out I like dressing up . . . about once a year. Today was the day! After talking, eating, drinking some champagne, and hugging the bride, I took a vase of centerpiece flowers home - spilling water on the floor of the hotel and down my dress. Worth it! And yes, I had permission to take them. Now that we are home, Nick and I are back in denim and planning a low-key evening of burgers and light shopping.
