Nick and I moved just over 8 weeks ago. This is a typical day for me now.
(It is similar to my pre-move life, but cooler.)
The Morning
The alarm goes off at 7:20. We get up around 7:40. To the gym! I have made oatmeal the night before and after coming home, I eat it with nuts, cranberries, and banana. Shower.
It is so rewarding to wash the sweat and salt away. I am washing my hair a lot more now ...
every other day to almost every day.
The Afternoon
I am on the computer a lot these days. We have 2 computers, both upstairs and I like looking for jobs or watching old tv episodes on Netflix or hulu. I like being in the same room as Nick while we do separate things. Sometimes we walk the neighborhood and get lunch, window shop, or go to a movie. Lately, I have been making adult play dates. Plus, I had an interview yesterday.
We both have jobs picked out. I am praying more often - half the time out loud. It's fun.
The Evening
Once it gets dark around 5 or so, my mind thinks, "It is time to wind down. Supper, pajamas, tv, tea." But, that is too early. So, we make supper around 6 or so. Maybe we try a new restaurant or go to Grandma's house and watch Dancing with the Stars. We eat more vegetables and less meat. After supper, I work on Christmas gifts, go back to the computer, read or wax, do laundry. All of these things add up to Full Days ... that can and will be condensed to Full Nights and Weekends. It just takes a full time job to accelerate my little tasks and treats.
I am ready.
