Today is a day of, "Look at what I can cross off of my list!"Nick reserved a moving truck for us last night. We pack up and leave next Monday. But first, we have a garage/moving sale on Saturday. Sell! Buy! Negotiate!
In preparation for our sale and move, I bought a little classified ad in the paper ($21) that will run for 4 days. I picked up my newly hemmed jeans ($15.50) as well as a good stock of contacts for Nick and me.
After visiting the downtown coffee house to see the women one more time, I went up to see what the antique store had in store. A pretty little armoire for a pretty little girl. I said "yes!" after getting 10% off and Nick will pick it up tonight. "Where will you put it?" he asks.
"Oh...in Lux, I guess."
It is darling and comes with little baby girl treats like onesies and blankets.
Last, but certainly not least, I made an appointment with a pest control company for some treatment. Our house welcomes humans and pets only, please. What took us 4 years to call someone...Tonight we have a last supper of sorts with our dear friends.
