Nick and I drove to Des Moines. I love having a cosmetology "free pass" to supply stores!
I am trying a new volume shampoo. Nick is trying a shampoo for "noticeably thinning" hair.
Lunch
We met everyone but Geof and Korbin
at PF Changs. Mallory was adorable as usual and she likes to wave now!
Dawn and Mary were showing their pregnant bellies in all their glory.Two new babies in the Fall! I also found out my friend Laci is pregnant.
The Drive
Nick has begun leading songs at church and in preparation he has started listening to his old
Christian music again. I tried to read, to drown out the 90's music.
It is ... not what I enjoy hearing.
Evening
After coming back home from Des Moines we got Wendy's food (for maybe the last time) and drove to a park. We ate quickly because that is what we do. Then, we played a 14 hole round
of disc golf. Swish! Slice! Zap!
Nick is a good thrower - tosser - putter. I am okay, learning how to Snap! my wrist.
He hasn't been playing with his regular group of friends so I have been taking his lessons.
We are bonding!

I love all the pictures! Mallory's eyes are so beautiful, right?! Do you get pretty sweaty playing disc golf? I like the image of you trying to drown out the 90's music. Do you think I should send Nick a Petra cd? Haha!
