Different Subjects

I am using blue today in honor of our first ice storm. It started this morning before 7am and made the naked branches look beautiful and our bushy prairie grass flat.
Nick is oiling his shoes in preparation for a business trip to Mexico. He bought a $5 piece of luggage as we do not own any hard canvas luggage, but instead prefer soft bags. We are leaving in the morning to attend church out of town with our brothers and sister-in-law and niece. She is almost one!

Our plans to pick out and cut a Christmas tree were postponed due to today's weather, but I have successfully placed at least one piece of decoration in each room of our house. It is so warm and cheerful here!
