I read in my Mothering magazine this month about a book club some women started for their daughters when they were 8 years old. It sounded comforting and stimulating. They always shared a meal, discussed a book and made a craft. I will form a children's book club when I am a mother. Maybe one for girls and one for boys. Or a tool club. Or a bicycle club. Or a manicure party club. Or a cooking club.
