The adjustment back to N and N has been . . .

I saw Nick's pictures and listened to his stories.

I told him a little about my week.

We went for a walk which ended up clearing the air and allowing for the real connection we needed after a week of pleasant separation.

Laundry has been going non-stop most of the day.

Loads of groceries have been bought and stored.

Nick fell asleep at 7; I finished cleaning up. 

We start the week anew and see what it will hold.
