Day 1: Stepping Into My Story
The instructions were Hands Over Heart and I hold mine
I chose yellow and orange to symobolize my self-love and passion chakras. I chose to start on a physical road because this is beginning as I traverse a metaphorical road.

Grateful and graceful. I love the size of me, the earth tones, my hands.
Day 2: My Hands
They are big and useful, delicate. They like nature.
Things I love in this picture: My forearm muscles, the mono-color of my outfit, graceful fingers on my left hand and the shadow of veins, the stark white of the sky as background.

I have Grandma K hands. My statues know.
Day 3: Profile
Reflection profile; I love the Nette in the puddle
It turns out I think, "profile=serious business." I took many, many straight-faced profile pictures and did not like them. Surprise! I can make faces and smile and laugh when sideways. Who knew?!
On Wildwood Trail I find my Smiling Profile
Day 4: Mouth
And then I am at peace, quiet and still. P.S. Pink lipstick looks great on me.
Day 5:Eyes
I knew I wanted the sun to shine in my eyes and it really did here. The color has disappeared but the pupil: amazing! I wish my eyes saw the world with clarity, with love and trust. Wearing glasses for 20+ years has trained me to forget that eyes are meant to see clearly. It is okay, eyes, you are supported by the world. Release your fear.
I found that 90% of the Eye shots were Nose shots. It was difficult to capture my eyes in focus and without my forehead or nose taking up the screen. So, soft focus!
Day 6: From Above
I taped the camera to the ceiling. I take lots of pictures from above using my arm length but I wanted to push the limits today. Higher, higher! I am happy the camera caught a blurred and sharp perspective and both of my favorite spots to relax are with me.
Day 7: Movement
I put on a dress and left off a bra in preparation for free movement. I love
freedom! I tried a few pictures outside but against the backdrop of
trees and grass, I got lost. So I experimented with light and blank
walls and like what was captured. Song of choice: Number One

Day 4: Mouth
I started mouth closed again and then remembered, "My mouth is not my lips. It it teeth, tongue, gums, saliva..." And you all know I love a goofy face to partner a regular smile.
I say things! I yell sometimes! I speak my truth!Day 5:Eyes

Day 7: Movement
I take up space. This dress is perfectly flexible for dancing.
