Untouched views of the drive home, out the passenger window

 I learn how to chop wood pieces into kindling; fire!

 "Chop with confidence." "It works!"

As expected, today was calm. Nick made His Breakfast and while I finished The last half of the last episode of The Big C he played on the computer. 

We both did actual work.

He tried to get our door to open and close smoother to no avail.

I played around on Twitter, wondering if I will switch off Fb.

Laundry and a couple of Extra episodes before leaving house at 6p.

Pick up wood for camping later, pick up our mail, get burgers at what used to be our favorite burger place. Today if was different in little ways and maybe it is the change in us from City to Country that dulls the appeal. We can have country and burgers any time we want . . .

Once home, Nick sets up a pack of wood pieces in the driveway and teaches me how easy it is to chop. After a couple of failed attempts to splinter the wood, I succeed. More fire, please!
