This week has put the Paint Bug in me. I set up the card table in front of the sofa, put on The Big C and paint. While shuffling around in my back room, I found some Jen doodles and the idea of "water-color!" popped in. I lose myself in the small strokes and precise placement. 

Yesterday, with Nick in Seattle all day and night, gave me the space to re-paint a canvass that had been set aside for months. I love it. The sky is not quite right yet but the little pockets of Original Painting that were incorporated into the Final Product make me so happy. I listened to Long Way Down while painting this. Some tv is made for listening to.

Today's plan: go the the theater by myself and watch Blue Jasmine. I am doing a lot of things by myself these days, expanding my life bit by bit.
