"This is our farm." And so it is.
Two years ago Mom and Dad Young made their way over to visit. And they came again last Friday. Arriving the 14th, staying three full days, breaking for 2 days, coming back is a lot. I love the first few days of Young time and the re-visit is a harder transition for me. "Everything was so fun and fresh . . . now it is harder. Boooo." I realized through journaling that the concentrated time together is unusual and leads to my taking breaks and letting everyone take responsibility for themselves. Great!
Things I love about the M and D Young visit:
spending time alone with them as a couple and individuals / being treated to many meals out /
listening to their travel stories / laughing at their unexpected humor / Mom's hugs! She takes her time and really means it
