Out of the Heat

The perfect amount of toppings and AC.

We had to get out of the house Thursday and Friday. TOO HOT. Part of me wishes we had missed the 90° days before moving and part of me is happy to endure the heat so that the new apartment's AC will feel extra sweet. Either way, we are cranking up the air in the cars and wandering around stores just to get the cooler temps.

I got a facial today. She is located beneath a business, in shade.

"I'm so glad you have air in here!"

"I don't. It is just this cool."

"Oh! I want to live here."

Four sets of people walked through our apartment today, all while I was home. They look quickly and quietly. One of the leasing agents told her couple, "We won't have to do much when she leaves. She's taken really good care of this place." I loved hearing that! And . . . I agree.
