My first self-photo after Be Your Own Beloved ended. It is hard to not take pictures of myself every day now. Good, good. The clouds! My cheekbones! I took a spontaneous walk with a new doula friend. Lovely sunshine and wind, an easily distracted dog attached to us. I drove to and from her house in silence, showered in silence: it is a relief to be quiet with myself and notice what thoughts come in. I am giving God space to talk to me in stillness. Shhhh
