Day 26 of 32

Today I created a dream. . .

To live in the woods, walk on a pine needle path, listening to wind blow through trees.

Nick and I visited M and D today and had a full, glorious summer day together.

Mom tried 3 new recipes on us for lunch and all of them were delicious. Beet salad, corn and potato salad, pizza rolls with fresh basil, tomatoes and prosciutto. 

Art in a local nursery - I bought a hand painted picture of mountains and sky for $3.

Nick showed me a tiny forest in a pot. I love it!

We bought an electric kettle on a whim. We needed a new one since I let our last one burn dry and since Nick requested a Costco trip - success! Plus, yummy samples and trying out furniture for fun.

A gentle walk on a quiet, wooded path.

Feeling hungry and parched, we agreed on Mexican for supper and my quesadilla and beans hit the spot.

Replaying my day with gelato in hand as we headed out of town, 
I think, "How lucky am I?"
