Still warm here. . .
On Sunday we got out of the house and played Scattergories with Meg, Eric and their visiting friends. I won by a landslide. I love winning.
Monday we took our one and only turn at sleeping over with Grandma. Nick took public transportation to work early in the morning while I stayed behind and made sure Grandma got through her morning and lunchtime okay. It was easy for me but I have great respect for Mom and Dad who have been helping her for weeks. She moves to assisted living on Saturday and we can all change the channel a little bit.
Last night was my first Women's Ministry meeting. Sarah and I decided an agenda is in order. It took a while to be productive and I like to use my time well. "Order please!" She and I will begin painting the Ladies' Room soon and it will be the most beautiful tiny area in the church.
This morning Nick and I met with a Western doctor and got some options for ensuring ovulation...pills seem to be the solution since acupuncture alone has not worked. After an afternoon of feeling conflicted and relieved and overwhelmed, I met Jen for supper and dessert and sister talk-through. What a perfectly timed, delicious evening. Onward and upward!
