This morning Nick ran an 8K in the Shamrock run. We slept and woke and slept and woke and got on the bus at 7:10 to be downtown by 7:30. His race started at 8:05 and even though it was drizzling there were happy people everywhere, wearing green and being all fit. I wandered the race line, drank coffee and cheered at the finish line. We had a great time and rested all afternoon. His time was 44:47 = less than 9-minute miles!






We shared a post-race cup of chowder, beer and water. Cheers!
