I looked up concerts in town and the one I want to go to is already sold out. Sold out! Well, you can imagine why; it is beautiful music.
On my run today, I saw my first flower buds. There have been sprouts and stems popping up, but now they are topped with purple and white petals. It is a short dormant period here and without snow and negative temperatures, I don't feel the relief that Spring in the Midwest brings.
"Ah, sunshine and melting snow - finally! I can go out without gloves and 2 coats." Instead I say, "It is chilly right now but in five minutes, I will want to take my jacket off." I miss the drama of Winter!

We are going shopping today. There are some staples I need - bras, shoes - and some hair and skin products. Nick is cutting his hair and is ready for me to get the back. . .soon we can leave.
