We like snow. It is beautiful and makes us pay attention when we drive. Chains? No, thank you! We took down Grandma's Christmas decorations, put them in her shed, ate lunch (bologna!) and then drove most of the way to Mt. Hood. People lined the shoulders, putting chains on their front tires and we whizzed on past. Eventually, we turned around after touching snow and then pulled off into this beautiful road to get a more romantic view.
