Today was Train Day. In the 14 months we have lived here I have used the car to go anywhere more than 4 miles away. It is relaxing to sit and watch the city go by, not bothered by other cars or weather. People still talk on their cell phones and it comforted me, hearing, "What chu doin?" between friends. There was a time when I would have been rolling my eyes at inane chatter but now I think it is nice because it means texting has not taken over all communication.

Now, with the clothes dryer humming in the background, drinking chamomile steeped in apple cider water (an accident), I am watching last night's tv and thinking nap nap nap.
