Nick and I saw our Knutson family a lot this month!
We celebrated Dawn in Des Moines (she is out of her 20s now). A concert brought us back to Des Moines. Jumping and tapping and singing to songs I love is the best.RAGBRAI came though our town this year and I did my part, filling goody bags and housing 3 riders (and their woman supporter and encourager). It was far less crowded than I expected, but so much fun
to be surrounded by cyclists and fried food and tents.Friday's softball game was canceled -
and good thing! There were tractor races at the fair.
Nick and BJ went, not the ladies.
We stayed in and played with the baby, laughing.Luck brought family back to us on Saturday evening to celebrate my other sister-in-law, Mary. We share birthdays within 4 days of each other. (she is a tiny bit older)I got terrific gifts of chocolate, earrings, and scent. I appreciate all of my time with them even more as we begin to move. 8 weeks and we are O-U-T, out.
