Tomorrow I will be in Portland! Nick is driving me to the airport and I will read and sleep as the airplane whisks me through clouds to my family.
Nick will then drive to Illinois to be with his family.
Our time apart ties our longest separation since marriage and this flight is my first in about three years. It is so much faster than driving!
I'm looking forward to: laughing with Jen, being hosted by Mom, daily drizzle, city bustle and more activity than I usually get in a month.
