A Weekend

Nick and I went to a tiny pumpkin patch. We bought gourds, pumpkins, and saw animals. After choosing our festive decor we drove to Fairfield. We ate at our favorite coffee shop / restaurant
and then sat on a street bench watching traffic go by as we ate cheesecake and chocolates.

Saturday led us to a farm auction. Trees are changing! On the way home, Nick spotted this.
His brother collects them and we asked the owner if we could buy it, but not yet. The evening allowed us to build a backyard fire and roast hot dogs. Cheesy!
We later went out to roast marshmallows and enjoy the mix of cool air and hot coals on our skin.
Well after dark we went to a corn field and collected enough stalks to make a great bushel to put in our yard. This is the only season we openly celebrate with decorations. After a weekend of Fall activity we made our way to Fairfield again to get our teeth cleaned.
This dentist is new for Nick and while he was getting his consultation I read and drank tea at our
favorite place again. Mmm, Jasmine.
My teeth are strong and clean!

Nette your weekends always sound cool and fun and relaxing. I'd like to trade weekends with you sometime. I love fall also, this has been one of my favorite falls so far. I found a pumpkin latte crockpot recipe I'm itching to try. Thanks for the prayers for our vehicle situation. I'm thinking of purchasing a camel or horse.

:) A camel. I would love to see *that* Sarah.
"Kids, sit in between the humps, please, not ON TOP."

I have found some new recipes as well and would love to know how yours turn out. The crockpot is your friend, Sarah.

We can trade weekends. Send the kids down!

Nette,
I like all your fall photos and your new header! It is funny that Nick's dental assistant was wearing SpongeBob! Do you have pumpkin candles?

No new pumpkin candles here yet, but we do have the same spicy one from last year. I open it and let the scent fill the living room. We don't even have to light it!
