Singular and Plural

I often feel singular.
I spend most days alone until Nick comes home or I have a client. Or if I run errands or go to church. Lately I have been feeling a longing for community and friends. Since we moved here Nick and I have wanted a pair of Christians to spend time with. We will keep praying!

This weekend Nick and I went camping at Lake Keomah. Growing up in Oskaloosa, I had never camped there, only visited. It is...good, not great. But we were the sole tent campers and were surrounded by trees and relaxed with fire and walks. The season for camping is coming to a close and we enjoy picking up and going even for 16 hours.

I always feel hungrier when camping and love making my hygiene routine short. The sound of families playing and cooking is nice too. I am looking forward to family camping in a few years.
"Ssshhh, people are trying to sleep."
